Hello and welcome
In a world that can sometimes feel unsafe,
starting therapy can leave you feeling vulnerable or anxious, talking to a complete stranger you've never met before, thats why I offer a free 20 min initial video chat where you can meet me, giving you the opportunity to discuss your current situation and ask any questions, alleviating some of that worry and deciding if I am the person you want to work with.

About me
After years of living on eggshells and navigating a 'one size fits all' system, my unique and individual therapeutic journey was truly a gift to myself and immensely healing.
If you're feeling lost, alone, overwhelmed, anxious, depressed, finding it difficult to sleep, distracted by unwanted thoughts or maybe lacking in self esteem, fearful of feeling vulnerable, weighed down by shame or guilt then I'm that safe space, where my hope for you is that you feel truly supported and not so alone in your journey.
I bring with me a wealth of experience having worked within a school setting, charity sector, counselling agency, in collaboration with Mind in Bexley and in private practice.
I have worked with but not limited to, anxiety, depression, ADHD, self harm, relationship conflicts, infertility, unpaid carers, bereavement and shame. I listen without judgement, allowing you to be seen and heard, maybe for the first time and always working with you and at your pace.
I support you to understand why you feel the way you do, learn to be less afraid of those uncomfortable feelings, exploring with you tools and techniques to learn to manage your feelings by encouraging self exploration and reflection, gently challenging, using a trauma informed and neurodivergent affirming, non judgmental approach. I'm here for you, supporting you with each step of your journey.
I support children, teens and adults.
My Approach
I work with what I call “Integrative Counselling” meaning I call on different theories to support you as an individual. I don't believe in a 'one size fits all'. My approach is trauma-informed and neurodivergent affirming.
I offer talking therapy using different theories, tools and techniques, play therapy, creative therapy allowing you to express yourself when talking seems difficult and walk and talk outdoors in nature, walking side by side using our eco system to therapeutically heal or a combination of these. I work with you offering safety, trust, choice, collaboration, empowerment and cultural consideration.
How counselling can help
The Japanese art of repairing cracks with gold is called Kintsugi. Gold lacquer is used to fuse together broken pieces, resulting in a more precious stronger and beautiful object.
Life is challenging and can leave you feeling low, depressed or anxious, you may be lacking in confidence with low self esteem, finding it difficult to sleep or constantly worrying, finding yourself arguing over small things, lost who you are, forgotten how to smile, having a space where you can truly be yourself without fear of judgement can be a life changing and immensely healing experience. Counselling is the gold lacquer to repair your broken pieces.
What happens
I offer a free 20 minute introductory call inviting you to meet me and share what brought you to look for a therapist. I’ll ask about your availability and invite you to ask any questions you have about me, my approach, about the therapy, enabling you to share any concerns you may have.
There is no commitment to enter therapy with me following the introductory call as it’s important that you have a positive experience of therapy and finding the right therapist is paramount to healing.
Understanding Fees
I understand therapy fees can seem quite an expense. The fees go towards membership organisations, room hire, supervision, insurance, professional training, taxes and other small business costs.
